About the person
Konrad Paul Liessmann, born in 1953, taught as Professor of Philosophy at the University of Vienna until his retirement in 2021. From 1997 to 2023, he was academic director of the Philosophicum Lech, and has been its co-director since 2024. His books include “Theorie der Unbildung. Die Irrtümer der Wissensgesellschaft” (2006), “Geisterstunde. Die Praxis der Unbildung” (2014), “Bildung als Provokation” (2017), “Lauter Lügen” (2023) and “Der Plattenspieler” (2025).
