Organic Bakery

The Unternehmen Mitte bakery has emerged from the experience of shortages during the coronavirus pandemic. In spring 2020, during the first lockdown, a pop-up asparagus store was opened. When the autumn fair was canceled after that, the store transformed into a UM-bakery with a range of autumn fair classics. Since then, it has been in operation almost around the clock. The bakery supplies the coffee house, the coffee vans and its own store with organic or Demeter-quality products made from predominantly regional ingredients. Specialties include spelt pizza, vegan cookies, croissants and spelt baguettes. The bakery also offers a wide selection of homemade vegan ice cream – such as cucumber and mint, chocolate sorbet, fig and lime or peach.
