Traditional Yoga Class with Sudheesh: A Journey of Mind, Body, and Soul

Welcome to a unique and transformative two-hour yoga experience that blends the wisdom of traditional yoga with my personal journey and holistic knowledge. This class is not just about physical movement; it is about reconnecting with yourself on a deeper level.

Who Can Join?

This class is suitable for everyone – whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced practitioner. No prior experience is required; every session is adapted to meet your individual needs.

What to Expect in the Session?

1. A Warm and Positive Start
When you arrive, the studio is filled with the soft glow of candlelight and soothing Indian classical music. You are welcomed with a heartfelt smile and a warm hug. From this very first moment, you will feel at ease, embraced by positive energy.

2. Initial Relaxation & Chanting
We begin with an initial guided relaxation to center the mind and body, followed by Aum chanting and a Sanskrit prayer.

Effect: Aum chanting calms the nervous system, increases focus, and clears the mind. The vibrations help release blockages and set a sacred, peaceful tone for the practice.

3. Pranayama (Breathing Practices)

Kapalabhati – A dynamic breathing technique that energizes the body, cleanses the lungs, and stimulates the mind.Anulom Vilom (Alternate Nostril Breathing) – Balances the left and right brain hemispheres, reduces stress, and calms the mind.Benefit: These practices purify the energy channels, improve focus, and prepare the body for deeper yoga and meditation.

4. Yoga Asanas (Postures)
We flow through a series of carefully selected traditional postures, including:

Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations): Energizes the body, improves flexibility, and stimulates circulation.Core Strengthening & Inverted Postures: Build strength, stability, and improve circulation to the brain.Forward Bends & Backbends: Release tension, stretch the spine, and open the heart.Twists & Side Stretches: Detoxify internal organs and improve spinal flexibility.Balancing Postures: Enhance focus, stability, and harmony between body and mind.Effect: Each posture strengthens, stretches, and rejuvenates, allowing energy to flow freely and preparing you for meditation. Small breaks are included for breath awareness and integration.

5. Meditation
After the physical practice, your body and mind will naturally enter a meditative state. Each session features a unique meditation, such as:

Chakra healing Anxiety relief and self-love meditationHarmony meditations for family (mother and child)Letting go of old habitsSelf-esteem and inner peace meditations

Effect: This phase promotes deep healing, relaxation, and clarity, helping you leave behind stress and reconnect with your true self.

6. Closing with Love & Chai
After the session, we share a cup of freshly made vegan masala chai – crafted daily with homemade spices and organic oat milk. We sit together, smile, talk, and celebrate the positive energy we’ve cultivated.

More Than Just Yoga

This yoga class reflects my personal journey and experiences. I have trained in traditional yoga, hypnosis, psychotherapy, counseling, Ayurvedic and Thai yoga massage, and chakra meditation. Growing up in a loving family in Kerala surrounded by nature and spirituality, I carry forward a life of kindness, care, and good karma. My dream is to share this love, wisdom, and healing energy with you.
