Matazz is an association founded in 2023 with the aim of promoting encounters between different art forms. Through itinerant group exhibitions, it offers a space that brings together distant creatives with similar needs.

What deeply binds a sculpture in a contemporary art gallery, the final note of a jazz concert, and a step in modern dance?

We believe that the first step to answering this question is to create a common ground where different forms of creativity can meet and get to know each other.

Basel’s geographic and cultural openness has long made it a center for the exchange of ideas, fostering connections across borders. This international spirit aligns perfectly with the essence of Matazz, where diverse artistic expressions converge.
