Join our exciting creative workshop Sound, rhythm, improvisation!

We will be playing various musical themes and create compositions on the spot.

Workshop is meant for people who love music and want to learn new things experiencing the world of music in a unique atmosphere.

Interested persons of all ages are welcome, also without previous musical knowledge. During the event you will be offered to make acquaintance with various instruments. All participants will be able to choose their preferred instrument and take part in collective music making.

In the workshop, percussions, winds and melodic instruments will be used that combine sound, rhythm and a simple technique of playing. Participants are also welcome to have their own music instruments with them – various percussions, bells and flutes, and anything that creates sound.

Our collective improvisations will be recorded during the event and accessible for later playback.

The workshop will be led by Inguna Rubene from Latvia.

Inguna Rubene is a professional flautist, music pedagogue, poet and songwriter. Besides flute, Inguna also plays fagott, guitar and various percussions. She has participated in many music festivals all around the Europe.

Inguna moderates events for both children and adults, discovering the magic possibilities of music by playing in the group.
