Narration meets composition. The ensemble vox fabulae combines contemporary music with text to create a unique performance experience. The newly formed ensemble vox fabulae (meaning “voice of the story”) aims to present a unique blending of storytelling and contemporary music. As the storyteller recites the text the musicians deepen the emotional experience by performing a score
composed for the story. The group debuted their first performance The Spring at offene bühne in Basel, Switzerland on 1 June 2014. The group’s material is all original, with music composed by Elia Navarro and texts written by Rebekkah Laeuchli.
