The Barista and Coffee Day Course is a perfect introduction into the world of coffee. Participants receive a general overview of the coffee world and it’s culture through theory and practical experience. Together we will journey all over the world by tasting various types of coffee and studying different brewing methods available today, including Aeropress and filter. We will learn how to extract the perfect Espresso and how to set the optimal coarseness levels of the grinder for a variety of styles of coffee brewing. This knowledge prepares you for the final part of the course: pouring cappuccinos, complete with Latte Art We look forward to unlocking the many secrets of coffee together during this experientially rich journey through history and culture.
Prerequisites: not necesserary
Costs: CHF 270.-. The registration fee includes the course material, refreshments and a certificate.

LATTE ART ARTIST & BARISTADemian Annaheim works at unternehmen mitte since 2011 as a Barista. He works at the Kaffeemobil in Basel on the Markplatz and at the Rhine and tours around Switzerland doing coffee caterings where he surprises his guests with his latter art skills. He competed in the years 2013/14 in Cup Tasting at the swiss cup tasting championships, 2015 he competed in Latte art and at the Aeropress championship. He holds the following SCAE certificates: Barista intermediate&professional, Roasting intermediate, Sensory intermediate, Brewing intermediate.
