Gabriele Fischer, born in 1953, is co-founder and editor-in-chief of the business magazine brand eins. She studied politics and sociology, worked for Manager Magazin for ten years and developed the subsidiary magazine Econy. In September 1999, together with investors and the former Econy team, she founded the business magazine brand eins, which is now published by the independent brand eins Medien AG [brand eins Media joint stock company].
