Richard David Precht, born in 1964, is a philosopher and publicist and one of the most prominent intellectuals in the German-speaking world. He hosts the philosophy program “Precht” on ZDF and discusses social, political and philosophical developments together with Markus Lanz in the podcast “Lanz & Precht”. The fourth volume of his history of philosophy “Mache die Welt” (2023) was recently published.
