Hannah Arendt (1906 to 1975) was a modern contemporary of the 20th century. Her work reflects the trials and tribulations of that era and at the same time updates the fundamental questions of being human: the questions of truth and lies, good and evil, freedom and responsibility. Does Arendt prove to be not only a contemporary of the 20th century, but also a contemporary of ours? Not only a woman of yesterday, but also a woman of today - indeed, possibly even a woman of the future?
