Taking the ground out from under speculation

The land on which we live is a scarce commodity. The amount of available land cannot be expanded and increased. People must be able to live with and to deal with this physical reality. When dealing with land, the focus should therefore be on this natural scarcity, says Christoph Langscheid, Managing Director of the Edith Maryon Foundation in Basel.
